Mobile Advertising – SMS is winning…

Great article in WSJ, Advertisers to Consumers – We’ll Text You, covering mobile SMS advertising. It’s funny, and good, to see the ‘resurgence’ of SMS services in the US. As everyone rushes to the bleeding edge of mobile, they often overlook the unlocked potential in the most basic channel – SMS. There are some astute companies focused on capitalizing on these opportunities today, 4INFO being one cited in the article. I’ve had the good fortune to meet some of the guys and am happy to see them doing so well in this space. They are a good company for mobile startups to study as they have changed their business model pretty significantly since they started. They are a sharp crew and will surely continue to do great things.
